Passing of Ted Schuck

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our long serving members

TED SCHUCK on Thursday 1st May. Ted has been a member since the 1950's all ways there with a smile and a silly joke to tell even though we have heard them a few times already.

As well as competing for the club Ted was involved with raising fund through the social committee through raffles whenever the club hired a bus to take athletes to away fixtures.

Later on Ted could be seen couching the younger athletes on the skills needed for throwing events, he was always there with his wife Joyce following the senior athletes in the XC season and later on he could be seen officiating at the end of a XC race in the finishing funnel.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
